Sharm El Sheikh - resort on Red Sea. Its located in southern part of Sinai. Resort stretched for several scores along few picturesque bays – Naama Bay, Sharm El Maya, Shark's Bay, Nabq. From the beginning there wasn’t any city. That is why Sharm El Sheikh owes to President of Egypt Hosny Mobarak its origin. Primary hotel's building was only in Naama Bay, rests of lands were announced as Nature Conservancy Zone. In middle of 90th building was allowed in rest of Bays & Sharm El Sheikh started to grow up broadwise. The most comfortable beaches for swimming are located in Naama Bay: sandy, with comfortable entrance to the sea but without corals close by, which were removed long time ago. Beaches in new advanced areas of Sharm El Sheikh (Hadaba, Shark's Bay, Sharm El Maya, Nabq) are coral beaches. It's belonging to Nature Conservancy Zone & hotels are forbidden to clean sea from corals. Hotels need to get a lot of permissions to build jetties above corals. Corals starts almost from very coast & stretched for 15-20 m almost in all beaches. Naama Bay is most famous & picturesque places in Sharm El Sheikh, lots of hotels are concentrated here. OLD MARKET Old Market is one of popular places for shopping between tourists. Historically (result from name) it is one of oldest areas of Sharm El Sheikh. It is located in south-west outskirt of Sharm El Sheikh, in Sharm El Maya Bay. Old city has direct entrance to the sea (Sharm El Maya Bay), lots o private beaches & public beach. Some hotels are located here & moreover there is construction of new compounds to the port side (parking place for most boats in Sharm El Sheikh). Over than hotels & beaches, there is Old Market – big famous oriental bazaar. Like everywhere in the city there are a lot of restaurants, entertainment centers. Life in Old Market doesn't stop neither during the day, nor at night. There is big Botanic Gardens close by Old City, central road of the Sharm El Sheikh – Peace Road – starts from it & it connects all Sharm El Shiekh's shore. There are park, bus station, and national security office besides tourist objects. NABQ is considered as most fast growing region of Sharm El Sheikh. 4*& 5* hotels builds-up extensively here as well as new residential compounds with interesting architectonic solutions. Supermarkets, malls, restaurants, cafes, fast-food places are opening here. All necessary infrastructures for life is being created (like schools, preschool centers) Do not forget that most part of this district belong to National Preserved Area. Waterside of Park goes to Aqaba Bay there you can see Tiran Island. Bays & lagoons are in Bounty style, there are quid & small morays in shallow water, remains of Maria Shreder boat, which was rejected to coral reef by storm – this isn’t all list of what you can see on the coast. You can make snorkeling here. Relatively small depth in aggregate with real labyrinth of corals, small mainsails & wells, underwater lawns from driftweeds & plenty of big fish are perfect for underwater shooting lovers.
